From Tokyo, but lives in Kyoto. Graduated from Keio University SFC and obtained a master's degree in Media Arts at Tama Art University. Based on his interest in the boundaries between the human and the non-human, the boundaries between the self and the other, that are changing in capitalist societies, he looks at the physical body that is ceasing to be “I” or “human.” New Face Award in the Art Division of the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival. Uber Existence is a “presence agent” service where your own body provides the “being there” part.
Registering the presence agent (actor) will allow a range of instructions to be sent from the user of the service via the app.
For example, if the user inputs the instruction “go to the festival,” the actor will put on a hat with a camera and go to the festival.
The user can see the video in real-time and feel like they are actually there in that space.
If you were to become an actor, how much would you want to get paid per hour, and how far would you travel?
And just whose would your body be during those times?
